Ölmstad - Gränna, Franciskusleden, S:t Birgitta Ways

This days trail is one of the most beautiful of the St. Birgitta Way. You hike along the Franciskusleden, which runs through a very beautiful landscape near Vättern. Here you can walk in a living countryside with room for the soul. The trail also goes through the Eastern Vättern Biosphere Reserve - one of five biosphere reserves in Sweden. At "Öland" you can turn left down to Wettershus, a Retreat center in a spectacular view. You can also spend the night here, but then you have to book in advance. Röttle harbor is a beautiful resting place and Röttle waterfall is an experience that is impossible to forget.
