Description
Sea air, heathland and coastal meadows stretching for miles invite visitors to walk and spend time on the Torhamn headland. The well-preserved, open farming landscape is rich in ancient monuments and has a long history. The area is also an internationally renowned spot for bird watchers with a large number of nesting and resting birds.
Complete rules for the nature reserve can be found via the link below, but, for example, no dogs or cats or other animals are allowed in the area unless they are on a lead, you are not allowed to pitch a tent or park a caravan without the permission of the landowner or manager and may only beach a boat temporarily. You are not permitted to drive motorised vehicles other than on the road to the car park by the shooting range or land at or visit Båtaskär and Hammaröra within the period 1 April to 15 July and may not anchor or stay within 50 metres of these islands within the same period.

Leave the E22 at Jämjö and follow signs towards Torhamn. Follow the road straight south from Torhamn church. The nearest bus stop is “Torhamn”, about 1 kilometre north of the nature reserve.
Regulations
Du är välkommen att besöka Torhamns udde, men tänk på att det inte är tillåtet att
- förstöra eller skada fast naturföremål eller ytbildning
- skada växande träd och buskar eller vegetation i övrigt genom att gräva upp växter
- störa djurlivet
- släppa hund, katt eller andra djur fria inom området
- tälta eller uppställa husvagn
- utan tillstånd av markägaren eller förvaltaren annat än tillfälligt upplägga båt på strand
- framföra motordrivet fordon annat än på vägen fram till parkeringsplatsen vid skjutstationen
- under tiden 1 april -15 juli landa vid eller beträda Båtaskär och Hammaröra samt att under samma tid ankra eller varaktigt uppehålla sig intill 50 meter från dessa öar.
