Vilhelmsbergs ekbackar

This area close to the city is beautifully hilly with alternating open glades and more closed, grove-like areas. There are a large number of large oak trees here, many of which are several hundred years old. You will also find some small, well-preserved burial mounds from the Late Iron Age.

Vilhelmsberg's oak slopes have no outdoor facilities and parts can sometimes be wet and more difficult at times. If you want to visit a more accessible area, there are trails and rest areas in Ingelstad oak hills.
